Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026
Before launch: replace [Seller legal name], [support email], and [City, State] with your registered details, and have a professional review these terms. This is a plain-English draft, not legal advice.

These Terms govern your purchase and use of Daily Log (the “Software”), sold by [Seller legal name] (“we”, “us”). By buying or using Daily Log, you agree to these Terms.

1. What you're buying

Daily Log is a single self-contained HTML file that runs in your web browser. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the Software for yourself. You own your copy of the file and the data you create with it. You do not receive the source rights to resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software.

2. One-time payment

Daily Log is a one-time purchase in Indian Rupees (₹), processed by our payment provider, Razorpay. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. “Free updates” means updates we release within the same major version, delivered at our discretion.

3. Delivery

After a successful payment you are redirected to a download page, and the download link is also included in the payment confirmation email. If you don't receive your download, email [support email] and we'll help.

4. Refunds

We offer a 7-day, no-questions refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

6. Your data

Daily Log stores all your data locally on your device — in your browser and, optionally, in a file you save. We have no server and never receive the contents you create. Keeping backups of your data (via the file you save or the Export feature) is your responsibility.

7. No warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or compatible with every browser or device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any loss of data.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of [City, State], India.
